INSPIRED WORK FROM ICE, SNOW, AND MOUNTAINS.
FLATER I ROM, DRAWING IN SPACE.
-The beauty of geometry.
I love to put geometrical shapes together at different angels and see the light playing at the object. I work intuitivt, together with some kind of plan.
I use triangels, squares and other basic shapes you find in math, and put them precisely together.
I am fascinated by patterns, pixels, shadows and light playing at flat, bright surfaces, composed of repitive shapes in different angels. I buld by adding and redusing space.
I look at the shapes the objects make inbetween each other, as much as the shape itself. It is like drawing in space.
I want to shed light on the beautiful aspects of mathematics and the close binding mathematics have to the structure of nature. You see it in snow, in cells and in the building blocks of all of the nature.
I want to give us a reminder of taking care of the nature. To make us aware. The loss of the icebergs. The importance of taking care of the nature, to work together with it. Everything is connected.

THE BEAUTY OF GEOMETRY
Novembersutstillingen Drammen 2018.
Svev.
THE BEAUTY OF GEOMETRY.
